Had Streetza and tried American Euros this weekend on Water Street. The pizza was once again perfect. The special slice was named after a very famous ex-packer. Hilarious. Euros were tasty too.
Satellite Crepes.... the best street food in Milwaukee and Chicago combined. American Euros makes a mean gyro too, but definitely Satellite takes the cake.
Streetza Pizza has an amazing baked potato
pizza--it's not as gross as it sounds, in fact, it is quite delicious!
And they can adapt their menu to any situation--for example, an
all-vegetarian menu for the Wisconsin Humane Society's 130th
anniversary open house, neighborhood pizza, and so forth. And they're
very nice guys!
I also like Koepsell's popcorn wagons!
May sound weird, but I like the popcorn wagon. Get a bag with some butter and salt and I am good to go!! There is one all summer by the old Shakey's Pizza in West Allis.
I LOVE Streetza Pizza. The pizza crust is always just right. The slices are huge and they have some of the most innovating recipes. I always get the special. (and they use real parmesan and fresh ingredients- big plus)
Yea it's definitely American Euros. You can't miss these guys, sporting white shirts and black ties and usually blasting better music than the bars on water. If their energy doesn't grab your attention their food will. It's amazing how fast these guys can throw one together and it's not just street food, they actually have the best gyros in Milwaukee, hands down.
AMERICAN EUROS, they are by far the best, hippest and coolest thing in street food. The food is great, the music is awesome, and the gyro cart guys are the best. American Euros, curing Milwaukee's addiction to wieners one gyro at a time
The taco truck on 40& lincoln has awesome carnitas burritos, otherwise the truck on 9th& lincoln, you can sit in the park and eat lunch
I had the Streetza Pizza at Chill on the Hill in Bay View. So that makes it park food. It was a huge slice loaded with fresh potato chips and blue cheese sauce. Can't beat that.
You're thinking of the pita brothers, Jackson Park. Great, fresh food. Also - Streetza and American Euros are awesome. All of the good new food on the street helps make Milwaukee a more fun and delicious place at night.
@hilsen - I *love* the pepperoni-cannoli guy! There's always a guy on Lincoln (around 27th) selling duros, too. Tasty.
Love LOVE Satellite Crepes (mmmmm... Supercluster!) and I had an awesome falafel sandwich from a cart @ the 4th of July street festival in Bay View (can NOT remember the name of the vendor). Anyone? Bueller?
Does the Pepperoni - Cannoli Guy on Water St. count as street food? He is a little over priced but the service is great.
The Hamburger Van that used to park on the East side by BBC, etc. was great!
Streetza is weak and all those sausage vendors
are awful. I always hit up American Euros on Water St. for some late
night eats.
You can get weak pizza anywhere.
A lot of these posters seem like the people who own the carts. Too bad they don't have any real fans.
Streetza is pretty spectacular.
The Streetza Pizza truck has some of the best pizza I've had in Milwaukee. Presented in a fun way by great guys. Only wish they'd be out earlier more often.
There is no good street food in Milwaukee. You have to go to the slums of Sao Paulo Brazil to get authentic street food.
Of course, the best street food is the street food I make at home.

Just hit the Taco truck on 6th and greenfield. Always great especialy after bar close.
