classic homer moment from season 2 "The Way We Was"
i just started watching the simpons over again from season 1. ah the memories. it kind of brought me down though when i realised that marge and homer were like 34 at the time. of course they still are 34 i guess, since they don't age, but it was a shock to the system, the knowledge that one is older than homer. last night i was watched season 2 number 12, entitled "The Way We Was". it's a flash back episode when homer and marge tell the kids about how they met in high school (homer broke the tv so there was nothing else to do). do you remember the episode? classic line: homer was trying to meet marge and he found out that she was a member of the forensic society, so he thought he'd join up and meet her that way. during his first debate, he was arguing against the 55 mph speed limit, but in the end he was so mad that all he could do to respond was moon the guy. anyway, when he first talks to marge later on, stalking her it seems, he says to her, "you may not remember me. i'm homer simpson. i mooned for rebuttal." i was laughing my butt off on that one. still am today. i'm cracking up just thinking about it.
